The detectives working that case noticed that the thieves had very distinctive coats, so decided to just patrol the neighborhood and see what they could find. They saw two people who looked the same as the couple in the video and pulled them over to find my iPad in their car still with my name and phone number in the attached folio case. So I got called in and filled a report, and they told me they would give me the iPad back when they got approval back from the DA. A week later and it does not seem a DA has been assigned to the case yet, nor have I gotten any contact from the detective working my case, so I am pretty pessimistic that this means we will be getting any of the other stuff back, but will keep you posted.
